Shot an commercial architecture assignment today using D800e and Tokina 16-28 and Canon 5D2 with 17 TS-E. Not surprising, each has its strength. But I'm really hurting not having a 17mm or wider PC-E shift lens in the Nikon line-up. I may need to move the 14-24 up toward the top of my list of "needs" if it has less weird ghosts than the Tokina.
Or get the a used 5DsR when prices come down further, to take better advantage of the 17 TS-E and other TS-E lenses.
Interesting to see similar subject angles, not shot at the same exact moment, but close. Besides added PC correction, most difference is due to lens optics and PP in LRCC.
Later . . . we washed down the entire front pavement area with water and managed to get shots before it evaporated.
The last two had the Nikon shot from a 6 foot ladder, and the Canon on a low tripod closer to ground level (best angle, but need the shift to make it work).

Very nice and interesting shots, I would love to have a 17mm PC-E lens with my Nikon but I don't think it will happen soon.

Thanks!
Regarding Nikon coming out with an UWA PC lens, I'm not holding my breath either.
This is why I say that no one brand or system will do it all. Each has its strengths and drawbacks. To the limit I can afford, I'll always have more than one brand or device type, including P&S.
