Nikon ladder shot (#3) is perfect. There is sometimes no substitute for elevation to get correct perspective.
Rico -- Thanks for noticing the ladder elevation.
The Nikon/Tokina is capable of some decent shots with corrected perspective IF one gets the right camera height and subject angles. I prefer the reflections from lower down, but provided both views of each building angle so the client can have choices.
Here's a Darwin, NT sunset panorama for y'all...... monsoon clouds are always hangin' about offering a photo op. Four hand held shots with the venerable, MF Nikon 55mm f1.2 SC Auto... one of Nikon's best ever!

David. I'm at a loss for words that could describe the beauty your shot shows so well.
Thanks so much Buddy! I really appreciate your kind words.... they mean a lot to me...
Cheers and good light,

Still shooting jewelry. D3X, Siggy 70/2.8 macro, two flashes through diffusion panels. The flashes were fired in separate frames, and the frames layered together:
Taking inspiration from one of my favorite painters, Diego Velázquez (1599-1660) of Spain. D3X, kit zoom 50-200/4-5.6 VR II DX, 130mm @ f/8, one studio light:
I have the 70-200/4, but this kit zoom is ridiculously awesome and just about fills the FX frame. I paid $110 for a factory refurb and, as usual, it looks like it was never mounted.
Although I didn't think it was one of my better shots initially, this shot was invited to "Flickr Explore", so there must be something in it that I'm just not seeing... the ones that follow are some of my favourites since I last posted...
