I remember buying their album Tejas when it came out, and own most of their older stuff. I'm not sure that qualifies for when they were new. Never did see them in concert though - I'll have to see if I can catch them sometime while they are still playing. Nice shot.
I saw these guys a few years back but no cameras were alowed I was very bumed. What a great show!!! Nice shot. What a great show cover with all the colorfull lights, clothes and guitars. I was going nuts leaving my gear in my truck.
OK, as long as we're doing concert shots, here's one form last year. No idea who the band were, an up and coming indy band I think. they were very good I have to say.

WOW, this one is outstanding. Only nitpick is the composition. the singer is a bit to centered, but that is really nitpicking. i love the contrast and the sharpness is great. Well done.
Hmm while i like this BW conversion, i also wonder how the color version looks
At sunset about 7:45pm after an all day drive, we'd just climbed the stairs without the lovely blue ponchos, luckily the wind was blowing the spray back at the falls so we didn't get wet She was wearing flip-flops, so I got to carry her back down all the stairs after shooting this.

Best,

Thank you!!!!!
I'm not that keen on the colour version, there's too much green in it. Plus my disk has chewed it, so I'll have to dig it off a backup somewhere.
These are all my favourite so I'm posting it all here lol. These were taken today at the Santa Parade. I didn't concentrate on the usual stuff, just on perspectives that I haven't done before and I've taken literally thousands of images from parades and the usual formulas for striking and sellable images are getting tiresome already , so might as well experiment, sort of. All images were taken with a D1 and either on a Nikkor 35mm f2 nonAi or a 135mm f2.8 Ais.

Yo thanks Ray but I still wanna know if it was a pano or a just a regular wide angle shot ...and oh thanks Nikt, I think I posted ahead of you but my post somehow disappeared...wtf . And what happened to Marc Kruth's shot, it was below Ray's one, that was nice too...the one with the boat and the moon backdrop...
