You mean tending towards the colour of potato crisps? I know, I know what you mean.
Nice dogs, Raymond....I mean giraffes! Outstanding.

can't we just make this fab thread a sticky one so it is always on top?
nah just post a photo once in a while and it will stick around all by itself
Meh, I can't sleep. Here is a shot from last Thursday. Apparently all I've shot in the last few months has been newspaper work. :-/

Despite afternoon showers, James and Janice Utt of Knoxville, Tennessee enjoy a nice walk around downtown New Bern after stopping to eat lunch nearby.
lol I haven't realized I did scan some old film stuff about a few months ago ...too many distractions...
Here are some shots from my archive and they were shot back in 2001. All were shot with a Nikon F2, Velvia 50 and a Nikkor 24mm AFD except the last one, which was shot with a Nikkor 16mm AFD. The first 2 shots were on a Lee magenta filter and the last one was on a Nikon rear magenta filter. They were scanned on an IT8 calibrated LS40. And there is no PS mambo wambo stuff, just dust cleaning and film edge cropping.
Guys, don't neglect this thread, it was on the 2nd page. :worried:
Now that the D300 is released doesn't mean we only have to look at unpacked boxes and high iso shots from messy tabletops
Raymond, I suspect with the "Black Friday" nonsense here in the states, and D300's being unwrapped, that this thread is going to get neglected this weekend. Bumping it up with this one from The Lipizzaner show in town earlier this year. Hoping to go again in 2008 to get better seats.
