I am switching out my D7000 & 35 f/1.8 for a Zeiss Ikon....just need to get around to listing it.
lol ...I just tabbed from a hexar page to read this ...but 'switching out' ...do you need some counseling from me again ...wheres that tin foil alien mind control hat.
1st one with more stars, ISO 6400 equivalent (ISO1600 pushed 2 stops in PP), 49 sec (stars already shows visible movement, those in upper left corner show less)
2nd one, 38sec but aperture is 1 stop faster.
I am a little surprised... the 2nd one is taken @ 2.8 the 1st one is @4 (actually that was taken later than the Tamron one since I need to switch to a weather sealed lens ) but I can't see the Tamron @ 2.8 gathered more light over the 16-35 @ f4... i wounder the T stop difference between them.
I should have brought something brighter than LED touch...(I left my surefire at home), I cannot illuminate large area with LED (used a plastic bag as color gel)
they are quite noisy actually... wish my D700 has a D3S sensor
