Turn me loose in those same places with your gear and I assure you the results would be unforgettable only in their utter mediocrity.
N80+24/2.8 on Tri-X. My developing ability is rudimentary at best, and I had a lot of help as it was. Still, my composition is the same as it has been. Don't need developer for that, thankfully.
Funny that I was just telling someone about this place over the weekend. Now that I have something more than a Polaroid One Step, I want to go back and shoot around there too, although Alamogordo has changed quite a bit since I left there 28 years ago. Wonder if the remains of the Dew Drop Inn are still there on 54 South?? (If you have seen the movie "Them" you'll recognize the name.)

I´ve been using today a B&W 10-stop nd filter for the first time. And I love it!
But, I´m not very clever and the day was, windy, with lots of waves, and lots of mini-drops of water began to fill the surface of the filter.... and I didn´t see them until now in my computer, while raising some shadows... I´ve ruined some good photos, I´m afraid.
Any way, the first three of the afternoon are almost water-free jaja.
