Appartently its snowing in our little blue mountains area. That might not sound like anything special, but it rarely snows. My dream is that it snows in Sydney one day.
Then I can use my dream lens, on my dream camera , and take , well, my dream shots!

About how cold do winters get there? I would take snow over 98 degrees any day Of course, I've never lived where there are what I would call true winters with 4-6 feet of snow all the time. Maybe then I'd change my tune, but I like to think not.
Here's one from last Friday at a local track. I only took the D200 and my 85mm f1.4 Nikkor. It turned out to be a great combo, but distance was a must with the 1.5x factor. I was going for the fastest shutter speed that I could get under diminishing light before they turned the track lights on.
The exif for this shot was ISO 800, 1/250th @ f5.6 with +0.7 EV bias handheld.
