Not worthy my grandmother... very nice images Paul. I always enjoyed seeing images , as you do, through a narrower lens ... but it just isn't the way my brain works. I like the style that you present very much.

Terry

PS As you might expect based on my last post... I like #3 the best

Sarah, trust me, snow is nice the first few times you see it, then it's just annoying. Unless you have a ski resort nearby, then it's fun!

Paul, I really like the shutter drag on the tennis player! But her head and body sharp; really gets the feel of motion!

Paul. I've shot some tennis myself and found that like much of sports shooting (perhaps deep down inside I just don't care for sports ?) after a while starts to look all the same. I think it is really hard to come up with a picture that is different and conveys the essence of the game.

Well your shot of the tennis player is pretty much the best tennis shot I've ever seen.
It is truly fantastic in every way. Waaaay to go!

Sarah. What kind of freak'n weirdo are you to think minus six hundred degrees and forty feet high slush everywhere makes for a fun place to play?
Some people!

That tennis shot is indeed amazing. What was the shutter speed?

Paul, you've broken about every rule in the book on that tennis shot I ditto Pavel's remarks, I can't recall a better tennis shot ever. Excellent!

About how cold do winters get there? I would take snow over 98 degrees any day Of course, I've never lived where there are what I would call true winters with 4-6 feet of snow all the time. Maybe then I'd change my tune, but I like to think not.

I longed for that kind of weather too, and looked forward to moving here, only to find out that they don't get as much snow in the winter as I thought they did, but at least they get SOME snow. I love my snow but wish there was more of it. (and yes, I am the one that has to shovel it at home too) Bring on the snow!

Terry, Avi, Jack, Pavi, Jonathon - Thanks for the kind remarks! : )

Pavel - yeah, i was getting bored with the routine shots i saw in the LCD. I was thinking of way to break some rules and this was the only one i could think of.

Jonathon - vital stats are f18and 1/30th. ISO ?. 500mm f4 AI-P nikkor. D70.
