Not much to share as I'm not at my own computer. Here's one I like.
BTW, if someone can tell me how to resize it better (I do 35% horizontal and vertical in PSE4 now), I will appreciate that and repost this. I know the picture is big to see now.
Why isn't this thread stickied yet It deserves to be.....any admin listening?
Anyway, here's one shot a few months back with my D1, Nikkor 35mm f2 nonAi, extension tubes, ReyGay Flash Diffuser and my Metz 32CT4. I used a Kodak white card to calibrate the camera before the shoot, due to the mixed lighting on the setup. The bluish tint came from the flash cuz the white balance corrected for the flourescent lamp. This shot has no PS manipulations, no cropping, just dust bunny cleaning . Have fun!
The photos on this thread never sieze to amaze. I think its going to be up to us to keep it at the top of 'page one' ReyGay. I thoroughly enjoy looking at the pics everyone posts each day, so hoping everyone can keep posting some more.
Thanks. I used the Nikon 24 - 85mm F2.8 - F4. I really like that lens a lot. I also have the Nikon 17 - 55mm F2.8 but I tend to use the 24 - 85mm more as a walk around lens. I'm really surprised by the quality of pics I get from it.
Here is one I took a few minutes ago that I liked. I sent the girls outside because they started arguing. After a few minutes they were friends again and started playing with bubbles outside on my fire-escape. I grabbed the D200 with the 85 f1.8 and fired off a quick burst. This was my favorite from the sequence because you can see her smile and the focus is one one of the bubbles. I like serendipity
You know, this started out as a thread. It turned into a novel. The nikon virtuosos hit it and it became a book - now well on its way towards being the literary masterpiece surprise of visual expression.

That seems to be the norm with sisters... one minute they squabble, the next they are best buddies. I know... I grew up with one She's the older, so she always started the fights, of course
Wow these are all amazing photos! I just got into photography a few months ago, I have a nikon d50, but I relize it's not the camera that makes a good picture it's the photographer and I dont have that much experiance as a photographer yet so obviously my pictures arn't anything compared to these but heres some that people have said they liked.
Oh also, I would love if you guys would check out some of my other photos and tell me how you think I'm doing so far. http://s183.photobucket.com/albums/x3/yeahdawgpoop/?start=all
Please tell me your thoughts and if you want to photoshop any of them or anything please do just let me see the finished product. I'm not all that good at photoshop yet and I've seen some amazing photoshoping here and would love if someone could do that to some of my photos.
Pavel, love the bubble shot, and couldn't agree more about the amazing images people just keep coming up with to keep this thread alive. Was it Nik that started the thread that long ago? Whoever it was (too lazy to look) - YOU DA MAN!!!
