Here is one of my favorites anyway. When the light hits the creek bottom at just the right angle it gives up all of its color.

As usual, a thread loaded with absolutely jaw-dropping images. Herewith my humble contribution(s) from what was the highlight of this year for us, a trip to Colorado Springs, CO this October.

#1 - descending from Pike's Peak, it started to sleet while I took this 3 shot pano:

#2 - Further down I just had to stop to take this rain rolling by a few miles away.

I don't know if this is my best, but it has some qualities I want to continue to pursue.
I know it's got some technical issues, composition, maybe horizon, but I use it as a reference point to do better.

Besides, my daughter likes it

I have many favorites but since I don't have them with me here in Hawaii, I had to make some more. This is my favorite place to exercise in the morning, Ko Olina beach on Oahu. I only have a laptop available and its not very good for editing.

I am a total noobie, but here is a shot I am proud of. I drove all day to take this shot of Mt. Shuksan near Mt. Baker in Washington state.
