Here is one of my favs, this is Crisp Point Lighthouse
which is located East of Grand Marais on lake Superior and is 18 miles off
on a dirt road, 38 mile from power and phone services.
Hey Woody, it's this time of the year, indeed. A roller coaster for me, that's 2006. I have three that I wish to have here with me, they are about the lake which I like so much, the mountains surrounding it and the tiny rivers feeding it.

I was over in the UK on a work trip and one weekend decided to abandon my hotel, drove 1200 miles in my rental car to the highlands of scotland in order to see the famous Eilean Donan castle. It was raining, but luckily, with a tripod, shooting in RAW and some Photoshop, this is what I got:

While there isn't much decent looking landscape to be had in my area, I did escape for a short three day vacation to Northern Ontario. The short getaway resulted with this shot, my favourite of the year (so far? )
