Hello all. I was linked to this by another avid photographer on our local car board in Omaha. I was recently deployed for the military and snapped these shots with a cruddy $150 camera (not even worth 50 now haha). Hope y'all enjoy!

I have an idea, let's get the Blues to sponsor a hot dog/marshmallow roast. Tim likes the smell of jet fuel in the morning, let's see how it tastes...
Correction, I love the smell of racing gas. Jet A stinks like crazy.
I went by the local camera store yesterday and they had JUST sold their last 70-200 2.8 VR, which was probably a good thing due to the fact that I would have probably gone ahead and picked it up (waiting on tax return). Its hard to explain to a girlfriend that she can't have sushi for a month because you "bought some nice glass"
Went through some pics from last year again and found this one. I dont know about you guys/gals, but I can hear that beautiful sound of a T6 screaming when I look at this photo.
That is a sound unto it's own. When you fly the six you can't here the sound, but you can feel that Pratt & Whitney in the airframe, and it just feels incredible. The only time I regret flying that plane is while I'm at the gas pump! I literally just enjoy looking at it sitting in the hangar.

Is there a reason this is the longest running thread on FM?
I hate to squeal on ya, but this isn't the longest running thread on FM
This baby started 2 months and a bit earlier and has over 1600 posts and 600.000+ views.
And to be honest, I don't even know if the "Post Pics of Canon In ACTION" thread takes the cake or not, since I don't visit every part of the forum. Sorry
Thanks for keeping this in perspective for us Andrew. I guess we'll have to be satisfied with our thread being the best group of people ever amassed on FM.... Can I get an AMEN!!!
It's been awhile since I've posted anything, so I thought I'd pitch this one in; I'd 'borrowed' a 5D for the weekend and it works well with a 24-70f2.8L:
BA31 Driver, Excellent sunset shot.
Man O Man what a thread. I could look at this everyday. I love airplanes, especially the military jets. ESPECIALLY THE F-18, ( BLUE ANGELS ). Our hearts and thoughts go out to the Blue Angel crew and their loss. We love you all. Jim, that F-18 rear shot a couple pages back is awesome. We had 4 come in last week to play with the F-15's at Kingsley but I couldn't get in again to shoot, still kool seeing them though. The Sentry Eagle will be at Kingsley Air Guard in August, I can hardly wait. Hope to see more jets and hopefully the Thunderbirds will show up again. Gonna have to go to a big city to see the Blue Angels I guess.
Thanks to all the other great posts also, they're awesome. I might have to give in to Fred, sign up and post some pixs.
