Curt, well with my chains images, the vignetting was added via PSCS2 as an artistic element. FWIW, the image was shot handheld at ISO800 using a Tamron 28-78 f/2.8 at 75 f/2.8. There was no vignetting on the original.
JPG shooters what settings are you using?? Im testing Faithfull with sharp +3 and contrast -1 right now.. Any better suggestions for best possible color reproduction? Yes i shoot raw also but for other times I want to get a good set of settings down for jpg
My comment was based on what inages I've seen so far in the thread. My 2 cents are just as important as yours, except mine wasn't a personal attack. Have a nice day lose_
No, my comment wasn't a personal attack, it was, if any attack at all, an attack on what you said. You calling me a loser is a personal attack. And while your 2 cents are as important as mine, that doesn't make them correct or worth wasting bandwidth posting.
All the images look pretty impressive and I would really like to get a 5D to replace my 20D but somehow if I had the dollars I would prefer the Leica DMR, there is something special about the images the leica takes that look so much more appealing than anything else I have scene.
Moonrise San Diego
Just getting used to my 5D.
From the Cabrillo National Monument on Point Loma.
The statue in the foreground is Joao Rodrigues Cabrillo, the Portugues explorer who was the first European to visit California 1n 1542.
If you look closely the couple to the left of the statue are viewing a digital photo they just took. http://www.qasw.com/images/cabrillo-moonrise51215-5092-6c5.jpg
