Nice photos.

But I know some others are thinking the same thing. Most of these could have been taken with any $1000 digital slr. My 2 cents.

The same thing could be said about the 1DsMKII

They weren't worth 2 cents, actually. You'd have been better off keeping them to yourself until you came up with a thought worth sharing.

You might want to resize your image... it's too big.

My comment was based on what inages I've seen so far in the thread. My 2 cents are just as important as yours, except mine wasn't a personal attack. Have a nice day lose_

Mamiya - If all these images had been shot on 4x5, scanned and reproduced at web size do you think they would look dramatically different?

Yes, I do think that a 4 x 5" film and scan would make a significant difference!

Having said that, a lot comes down to good resolution and the quality of the sensor and lens used; the photographer's skill and technique i.e. the quality of the originals; AND the photographer's post-processing skills! A $1,000 DSLR in the hands of a highly skilled photographer will get you better images than a 4 x 5" camera in the hands of a less skilled photographer.

Some really nice stuff here. It's nice to see everybody putting their 5Ds to such good use. Here're some of my faves. I haven't actually had much of a chance to use it

I have seen it on a few images, not that big a deal to me when it happened.

Here's a few random selections.
