I can't prove my lens is better but I know it is by theory and on paper and charts, and grafts and.....
5) People who post requests for critique and the photos are absolute crap. What do you honestly expect people to say. Do you think you have no replies because the photo is so great that there isn't anything a person could possibly say? Please buy a film camera so you won’t post your photos on the internet.

As far as your rant, Every forum is the same regarding search engines. I bet there are 100+ posts for what lens to buy for a 20D and more for buy 20D over 10D, 1DmkII over 20D. It gets to the point where unique questions get pushed down to page 6 (no reference to the newpaper and its page 6)
It seems like this kind of crap happens in all varieties of photography boards. It happens here, and it happens other places where people are not as 'advanced.' Great post, it basically sums up what most good photogs deal with on a daily basis.
Hand holding the 1200 5.6? Is this doable? I'm going to an Airshow and I don't want to lug my Velbon tripod, the one that came free with my video camera, it's so heavy.
