I recently returned from another adventure into South Luangwa Nat Park- Zambia and considering it was the heaviest vegetation & tall grass I've personally seen in over 40 years of trips here (due to Summers heavy flooding rains)
........big cats were a challenge, this magical area still delivered in spades!

An incredible encounter @ 6.30 one morning on the Luangwa Riverbank.
A huge 4M+ Crocodile declares his true ethics by taking advantage of whatever comes his way! To the detriment of a newborn Hippo that was likely crushed by his own pod @ pre dawn.

Stunning Marc! Very well done. I really like the action combined with the dust in the bee-eater shot (although I wish that the one getting cut off in the upper right of the frame wasn’t there). The colors, low angle, and pose of Mutima makes that a strong image. The hippo and croc is a super unique sighting!
