p.1 #1 · African Wild Dogs chase a Leopardess up a tree!

The Kasikezi female races back up to her treed Impala kill hotly pursued by the Milyoti Wild Dog pack.
She had also 2, seven month old cubs that were secured in nearby trees to protect.
What a morning, with the pack constantly returning during the next 2 days trying to steal her kill.
South Luangwa Nat Park- Zambia.

Great documentary work. Could not but notice a collar around neck on one of the dogs (photo #4). That is how they are tracked by authorities? Any idea?

#3 - no nonsense is going to take place. Prey and predator at its basic level.

Yes thanks Guy,
A great proportion of Wild Dog packs in nearly all the major Nat Parks, Reserves and Concessions throughout Africa
are fitted with GPS radio tracking collars for both the alpha females & males. With the packs constantly on the move the collars play a vital role in conservation
of this threatened species, with numbers now down to around 5500.
