You are offered a discount during the last step of the cancellation process when you click "Continue" after selecting "Cancel your plan" and are shown offers to stay. You must click through several steps, select a reason for cancellation, and proceed to the final screen where Adobe presents offers like a reduced price or a number of free months to try and keep you as a customer
I got suckered in and paid the full year to avoid the threatened price increase. The bums!
Being a Flickr Pro member, there is an Adobe discount there, but I think it's only for the first year so probably no help for us there on renewals unless I read it wrong?
Oh shit, you almost got me there, that I didn't find the most affordable package! But the Amazon.fr price is only for Lightroom, it doesn't include Photoshop. Hopefully this is the way you intended as the Adobe's product naming can be very confusing..

That is a two year old thread. The last reply from one year ago says they caught on to this and now you must cancel and at some time in the future sign-up and hope for a discount.

I just cancelled my 1TB plan which includes Lightroom and Photoshop. I’ve been paying close to $20/month. My plan terminates as of December 3rd, which is the end of the current paid month. I will order the same plan through Amazon in U.S. for $119 for the first year and will need to do the same in one year when the current offering reverts to full price.

I've heard it's better to order from Newegg, or B+H or whomever other than Amazon when it comes to Adobe subscriptions because Amazon has all your card info and handles all subscription renewals on your Photoshop account. So if you purchase a great deal on a 1 year PS/Lr plan from some other E-tailer in month or two, you can't add (or stack) it on top of your Amazon-bought Photoshop because unlike an Adobe managed account - you can't extend a current subscription with an extra year PS/Lr plan bought somewhere else.
This one has me tempted. That's an incredible $-to-GB value and from a brand that I've (personally) only had good experiences with. More space that I'd ever really need in a card though.

Any deals expected on Photo Mechanic?
They not only went to a subscription model but also jacked up the price of the perpetual license to $300 with only a year of updates offered. I had written off every buying it after I did a trial but it looks like they finally added customizable keyboard shortcuts so now I'm interested.
Just saw that. $40 off a year's subscription, nah I'm good. No discount on the perpetual license. Bummer.
To the other folks that suggested Lightroom's new AI culling, it's moreso that I just want a really fast RAW viewer to quickly rate and discard duds. I did just find an app called ApolloOne that I'm tinkering with that might fit the bill. FastRawViewer kind of does this on the cheap but clunkily and it's not a full sized render so judging sharpness is hit or miss.

It is kind of funny that they send me the email for the discount, when they know I pay subscription and can't use it.
For those that have changed from Adobe subscription to a 12 month plan, is it activated in your existing adobe account?
I rarely use Photoshop and £62 for a yearly LR plan is quite a saving on the current £15 per month plan
