Does anyone have experience with non-Sony batteries on the newest Sony cameras?
The reason I'm thinking of buying them is the convenience of having a built-in USB-C charging port and possible higher capacity.
I'm thinking on trying out these 2600mAh batteries: https://amzn.to/48tLid3

Awesome deals at Rokinon's website. Many lenses on sale, plus $75 off $300, $150 off $500, $300 off $1000. Rokinon 35-150 f2-2.8 for $829. And no sales tax (at least not in Michigan)! Sale is on through December 7.

Wasn't even in the market for a lens, but couldn't resist this price. Thanks (I think, haha).
Coming from the Tamron 28-200, I hope the trade off is worth it. heavier and less range, but faster.
So B&H has the Gitzo GT3532 mountaineer series 3 tripod with an included GH3382QD Series 3 Center Ball Head on sale for $1,000 off (!) as part of Cyber Monday. $699 in total before tax. It was shown as a deal zone thing that was set to expire at 10 MST, but looks like they have a few left after the fact. Looks like the 3532 goes for about $1400 and the GH3382QD goes for $540 independently. I have no idea why it was so heavily discounted but I grabbed one before the deal zone expired after franticly reading reviews as I've been wanting to upgrade my tripod. What's the catch here besides it being quite large and probably not great for hiking with? I figured I'll just cancel my order if it's not a good purchase.
The Samyang/Rokinon 35-150 is vastly better optically and AF than the 28-200, which had the least reliable AF of any current Tamron lens. The only downside to the 35-150 is the the zoom creep when pointed downward, which is annoying. There were some bad copies out there, but the likelihood of getting a bad copy recently is low, and you can always return it for a replacement or refund, if necessary.

Tonight, when I wanted to use Topaz Denoise in PS, I got a message that I have used all my credits and I need to pay now if I want to use these features.
Not sure, how many credits do I have per month? I haven't been using PS really much in recent weeks as I was busy with other tasks. So I got surprised when I received this message. Maybe somebody can tell how many credit a standard photography subscription is allowed per month?
So Adobe wants to charge two subscription fee per month now: one (mostly) for just using PS and the other one for using generative AI. The good thing about Canva is that its program is free. One needed to pay a subscription fee only for AI.
Still not sure, what is exactly taken into account for the user credit.
Denoise is part of your subscription, you shouldn't have gotten that messages for just trying to use Denoise AFAIK. Now generative fill/expand, I do think that does have a consumption component to it.
