You selected wrong @Fred Miranda When you select titanium color and aluminum material, it’s of course unavailable.
You need to select titanium material and it shows available. Before it was out of stock
with David watching, I guess this is the week for the 40/2 that was supposed be out in parallel with the 35/1/4 and the big reveal although we do have an inkling what it is, and how it is being offered as some sort of special to existing owners. So time for the cc card to come out for round two.... soon I guess.
Also looking forward to Fred's review of the 35/1.4 and to compare with others like the SR, I hope in a legendary lens comparison.

Both options were unavailable or already sold out when I checked. Like I said, if any titanium lenses showed up again, it was probably from refunded orders before shipping. They stopped taking new titanium orders on the 21st, so nothing new is being accepted.

Stuff like this just makes me think browser glitch or caching issue. I never saw the Ti version come up as available after the early close on the 21st, FWIW.

I think both are in the bag for December - the ms-optics- I am arranging my payment today- I assume it will not take weeks since they said ready to ship- for the other LLL said shipping this week- if they keep to the schedule- both should be in my and hopefully your hands by mid month then comes the dig and film tests

I made my payment for the new version Saturday. I haven't heard anything from MS Optics with confirmation yet. Yes I'm excited to mount it. I bought way too many toys this month between the 35 AA, Sonnetar, headphones, gaming system. I probably just end up just reading my Kindle on the couch because it takes the least amount of effort.

Good deal. I noticed they were accepting orders for a version with slightly closer focusing. Mine goes down to 0.9m, but I believe the optical design hasn't changed.

Yes, they said it's closer focus but didn't specify how much. I hope it's 0.7m.

In other news, I am wondering if there might be a slight delay with the hoods. There are a couple IG posts that seem to indicate that may be the case. I am sure it will be resolved quickly. Bringing a new product to market is hard.
The second image is more confusing...because it's a picture of the lens with a hood mounted...so maybe it's referring to the black square hood...or maybe there is no issue at all...we are all excited (and a little impatient).
The updated IG post says they started shipping Ti version today and hope to get all the Ti orders shipped by the end of this month.
