Cosina announced the official release date for the E-mount version of the lens today. It's 12/12. That will apply at least to Japan market, although other markets typically start around the same time.
Used the paypal 20% off offer to pay my CameraQuest balance of $1049! Looks like the points are pending on my account already. I was feeling apprehensive about the $1149 price but $939.20 after discount feels a little better on the wallet

I believe that's M mount? He hasn't listed E or Z mount prices, yet?

There's still no official pricing for the CV 28/2 APO-Lanthar in E-mount or Z-mount, but based on the earlier 35 and 50 pricing, they will likely match the M-mount launch price, which was about $1,150.

In Europe it is 1.149 euro. I ordered (and paid) the Z version.
The price is the same as the 35/2 & 50/2 Apo-Lanthar II Z, €1149, which already includes 19% VAT.
With Voigtländer Z-mount lenses, you can basically pre-order without hesitation, because their prices remain virtually unchanged even after months or years.
You might be able to save around €100 somewhere after a while, but that's about it.
Cosina doesn't offer any discounts either.
This is quite different with high-end Z-mount lenses, where being an early adopter almost always means paying a hefty premium, because the introductory prices are set high, but erode relatively quickly once the early adopter market has been milked.
The mandatory VAT in Europe, which also decreases with substantial discounts, further reinforces this effect.

If the relative diff between the 28 Nokton VM at $1049, Z version at $899, and E at $799-$749 extends (and 28VM APO @ $1149), we should see around $1000USD for the 28Z APO and $900 for the 28E APO.
It's interesting that VM versions have been noticeably more expensive in U.S. vs. mirrorless versions of same lenses in many cases since in Japan the mirrorless versions are typically more expensive than VMs, though very close. With these 28/2 ALs, E and Z versions are 3.7% more expensive when comparing official Cosina prices (140K for mirrorless vs. 135K for VM).

Over here E/Z mount versions are 4.5% more expensive than M mount (E/Z both cost €1.149 while M mount costs €1.099). Seems more in line with Japan pricing, at least relatively. Level is of course significantly higher, even after considering VAT, which is often the case with CV lenses unfortunately
Keep an eye on MAP Camera on their eBay store. I just had one delivered today, $811.30 + my local tax for a total of $878.23, no additional tariff or duty. I have seen another one on their site but I was not fast enough. No box but it is in perfect condition. I really like MAP, I purchased it on Saturday, I got an email Sunday that it would be sent out on Monday, and it arrived today, Tuesday. You can't beat that, Tokyo to Texas.
In Tokyo the latest batch of VM version that became available in some stores in late November seems to be all gone now and stores seem to expect next batch in late February. I'm expecting to receive the E-mount version on Friday. There haven't been any local reviews or articles posted about it yet in Japan as far as I've seen.
CameraQuest has a used mint copy (M-Mount) for sale with box, hood, caps for $200 under retail. I have always found the used lenses from CameraQuest to look no different than new.
