I went with some Nextorage A1Pro cards as they have the fastest sustained write speeds of any Type A card (not counting 4.0 cards) at 850mb/s which is what I use in my A9iii. The company was founded by former Sony engineers with experience specifically in memory and storage development. They have a really good rep - and knock on wood I have had zero issues with them.
Also they have another version called A1SE which aren't as fast but still fast and a fair bit cheaper.
Is it just me noticing but not really any "new" great deals on camera bodies and lenses, seems like the same prices that have been on sale for awhile now.
I can buy the enclosure as a blank and add a 4tb drive but not sure what I need
This enclosure looks good and has good reviews. I like the passive cooling.
The Lexar 4TB NM790 at $234 is tempting. I'm also looking for an external USB4 drive for my Mac Studio, will try to find more information on this one.

I grabbed the enclosure. Now finding a 4tb chip
I went with the Samsung as its bare and in video they showed a bare drive without the heatsink
Keep you all posted how it works out. My other drive I have that I built 2 tb runs about 2700 read/writes and im fine with that speed just wanted a 4tb. Maybe I will get more speed im just future proofing myself

More about moving data fast on external drives. My Mac’s are a M2 studio and a M3 laptop. I keep very little data on the Mac’s everything is moved to externals. But I over bought with T4 and that will change with next Mac
I have 6 connected externals the slowest is my T9 drives . I use them more for storage. But in C1 I will process from the fastest externals as well. C1 is more processor based than ram based like Adobe products. I shoot up to 5k a day doing certain jobs so processing and moving data is a big deal

Assuming your computer can handle it, isn't it better to buy SSD and install it as an internal HD? It would be both faster, and cheaper.
I have a Dell laptop that has 1 TB internal drive, and I keep all my photos on an external 2 TB Samsung T7 SSD. But that's filling up , and I thought I should buy SSD and a box, and heep it external, but since my laptop has another bay for internal HD, I bought a 4 TB Samsung 990 Pro internal HD.
I was thinking to buy two of the 990s, and discard the installed 1 TB drive, but even the proposed installation of the extra HD is at the limit of what I feel confident I can do myself...
Mac’s you can’t change hard drives after you buy them. So no switching of internal drives you buy 1tb your stuck with it. Really not much you can do after your purchase. You have to look at external drives for storage and such. So I may process a job on my M2 studio than move it to my M3 laptop so I need an external to move data. Now I can process from my external drives also and I do sometimes. But Mac’s are very limited with HD and Ram but it on your order or your stuck with it

You can surely replace the original drive without too much troubles. Just start with cloning it using software like Macrium Reflect. The free version is a bit slow but you don't do this very often...
Or, just install your new 4TB drive as a second drive and move your documents and images to the new drive. Freeing up space on the original C-drive is probably a good idea. But ideally, yeah, replace it with a new fast and bigger drive would be even better 8depending on how old and so on your Dell is).
