I was hoping for the repeat of the WD sales but it seems that Seagate has much better deals on NAS rated hard drives this year:
Seagate IronWolf Pro, 16 TB - $249 - https://amzn.to/3AUAR5x
So far, a notable mention goes to Topaz Labs and their 50% discount on bundles and single licenses:

I saw that price on Amazon: https://amzn.to/3V4FsZH and I was wondering if there are any external cases that would take advantage of the speed of these drives when connected to the laptop? I guess it would have to be Thunderbolt 5 case as max speed of Thunderbolt 4 is 5000 MB/s I think.

It seems as if there is no Black Friday discount on Topaz Photo AI 3 ($199), just a bundle offer if you want two other apps?
I was waiting for Black Friday to buy Photo Ai, but this is disappointing. Apparently the only alternative to the bundle is to buy it at full price with the addition of 800 cloud credits, which apparently you use up when processing images….

Yeah, I haven't bought a Thunderbolt 5 computer quite yet. For photos the peak bandwidth isn't that important.
I ordered an Acasis TBU401 TB4/USB4 case last week. I have a older TB3 case that doesn't support USB which limits its uses. Maybe I should have gotten one with the ASM2464PD controller.
It should be considerably faster than the 8TB Samsung T5 Evo or the SanDisk Desk Drive (which requires a power adapter). QLC should really be less than half the price of TLC--it is literally half the flash cells and more than proportionally worse in every other way, but the market seems unaware. Those are both on sale too, but not worth their sale prices.

I use faster drives for video processing and Lightroom cache so it would be nice to have the external case to get the most out of those 8TB WD drives. At this point, I guess, it would be just future proofing purchase but the price is very tempting…
Do folks on here like the Peak Design carbon tripod? I’ve been flirting with the idea of getting one this year but waiting for this moment to finally pull the trigger.
I need something stable and lightweight for seascape long exposures and travel trips.

Isn’t the Photo AI 3 priced at $399 regularly?
According to Google, the regular price is $199. The Black Friday "sale" price is also $199. The only difference is they're bundling something (credits or other apps or whatever) with it.
Picked up 4 of them and saved $100 on tax with the payboo card

it's a great tripod, but vastly overpriced. the ulanzi zero y offers nearly all the same things (if not more) for much cheaper IIRC
Not sure if it's just a Black Friday thing or not, but I picked up a ProGrade CFe 4.0 Type B 512GB yesterday for $140. Today I see them listed everywhere on sale for that price.
