I can buy the enclosure as a blank and add a 4tb drive but not sure what I need
This enclosure looks good and has good reviews. I like the passive cooling.
The Lexar 4TB NM790 at $234 is tempting. I'm also looking for an external USB4 drive for my Mac Studio, will try to find more information on this one.
I grabbed the enclosure. Now finding a 4tb chip
I went with the Samsung as its bare and in video they showed a bare drive without the heatsink
Keep you all posted how it works out. My other drive I have that I built 2 tb runs about 2700 read/writes and im fine with that speed just wanted a 4tb
