Haven't had much time to go out; so here's a cat picture instead.

Took the "same" photo with my ZF + 60 Micro and GFX 100 + TTA 75, both at F8 (no super 35 mode on GFX).

Interesting to compare to the corner behaviors, but the TTA has GREAT sharpness for quite a ways outside of center frame, and has quite pleasing bokeh even at F8.

Finally got around to taking some pictures of the lens with the Pro-Mist on. It still swirls

I should also mention that the CV40 (E mount) screw-on hood fits this perfectly. So I was using that yesterday with the lens cap too. Better than that screw-on cap that TTartisans made.

Regarding the M mount version:
Martin from phillipreeve.net reached out to TTartisan and they confirmed that an M mount version is planned. No time frame though.

Thank you for asking and top one is at f/2 and the rest at f/2.8

I am including one below taken at f/2.8 with Nikon Zf.

I wonder when the M-mount will be released. Any info on this?

Best adapter from M42 to M mount? I ask because I saw video where the lens screws on with the distance scale on the bottom of the lens. Not looking enjoyable to use to me.

Very curious how this lens performs against the Leica 75/1.4, VM 75/1.5 and the original Biotar 75/1.5 II. Any comparisons? Thanks.

I don't know if it's the best but I like the K&F Concepts adapter. It includes an allen wrench so that you can loosen and adjust/ rotate the adapter where the lens mounts so that the central marking for the distance scale lines up correctly.

*Edit - my adapter is the M42 to L mount. You may need to confirm that the M42 to M mount also is adjustable.

In the times when the M42 mount reigned supreme, you could mount any lens from any make on any M42 camera and the distance scale would align (more or less) nicely with the top of the camera. It should still be the same.
Yet a number of adapters can be adjusted (grub screws around the outside) so that they align properly which is not always done at the factory. Once aligned for one lens it should be OK with any other.

After work trio on a fine Thursday afternoon, Washington Sq Park

After work Trio

Portrait of the Portraitist

Gabe - WSP

It definitely maxes out all that I don't like about using 'dumb' adapted lenses. But, it is awkward and cumbersome, in a focal length that I'm not practiced in 'seeing' right now, though it does have very narrow working constraints to get it to perform. It may even be faster in use than a 4x5 studio camera.

I'm kinda loving it.

I actually took this guy out for the first time in a bit the other day. I love the construction, I just don't really like USING it. It was so cheap it's probably worth hanging onto just for fun.

Now that I have the AF TTA 75/2, that gets picked up way more often.
