Sorry to cause confusion. I was going to say that most of the images look relatively the same the improvements of higher megapixel counts are invisible on a website. Even with a 4k display a 10 megapixel image out resolves my monitor. I feel like a few images over the threads might have slightly less dynamic range in a few of the most extreme examples but I that was about it. I do feel like modern cameras make capturing images MUCH easier (Eye AF, Mirrorless in general.) But the final image is not much better at least for web.

I have gone from 400D to 7D to 6D to R6. While under good lighting conditions the improvements in Image quality have been incremental, but to my eyes I can see it. However there has been a massive improvement in low light image quality. My R6 can take photographs of moving trains at night under station lights that were impossible with the 400 and 7 Ds. Similarly, the 6D and R6 allow dark portions of the image to be processed showing more detail that improves the context of the photograph. I still have my 400D and 7D but they sit unused, modern cameras are so good to use.

Hey, this is an excellent idea for a thread. Let's keep this alive and active. Here's a few taken with a 5D and 6D.
The following link will take you to a similar thread I think you will enjoy. It was originally started in March of 2023 and has approximately 16 pages of images from what some would consider the "old days" as well as some a little more up to date....very similar to this thread.

Today 3:45pm EST this Coopers Hawk hit my slider chasing song birds. I didn't see it, but heard it and went to investigate. As I got to the slider I saw the bird lift off and kind of tumble through the air - crashing into a pile of sticks near my property line. I managed about six frames through the double pane slider from about 60' (this is cropped) - only this one had fair focus. I think I can see a dazed look, but maybe it is my imagination.

After viewing this thread I got really inspired and have ordered EOS 40D which I love and now a 30D on its way. They are dirt cheap these days and so much fun to use.
