Here is a selection of images from a late model stock car racing event on a warm summer evening in 2003. I had SO much fun.

Canon EOS 1D version 1, Canon 70-200 f 2.8, and a Quantum Qflash mounted on a stroboframe. Yes, we were allowed to use flash.

These shots are exactly the reason why I haven’t sold any of my DSLR’s or EF lenses and why I now don’t touch my R stuff and probably never will.

(Currently away with 6D/40stm)

Sorry to resurrect this fossilized old thread, but I ran across these oldies while looking for something else and thought I'd share. They really don't fit anywhere else so....

I think the first one is kinda cute.....

These are from June of 2002 using the Canon EOS D30 (not 30D) with the old school 100mm f2.8 macro.
