Thanks Old Dan. I can't afford to keep my old gear. Do you want to buy an old R5
Many thanks Tony! I am "exploring all my options right now!
After seeing your, and others, remarkable images here....I have time to "explore" mirrorless bodies.
Your images have always been spectacular Tony..the camera is just an extension of your eyes/brain!

One reason I have stuck with Canon through many iterations of digital SLRs (after 30 years with FTb and F-1 film cameras) is the amazing color rendering. After dabbling with an Ixus, the journey started with the Digital Rebel (see picture) and followed with the Rebel XTi, 40D, 5D, 7D, 5D mk3, SL1, RP, R6 mk2 and R8. All the cameras, and assurely many others, have a pleasant color, in particular the greens. Very subjective, I agree, but I opine that a company developing printers has a better chance at understanding the issues with perception of color, versus charts and numerical analytics. In a way a replay of Canon's edge on competition when mechanical cameras evolved into electronic automation (AE-1, A-1, F-1n, EOS system, and Canon could leverage know-how from its parallel business lines in photocopiers, medical systems and personal computers.
An oldie I came across again for the first time in a very long while...reprocessed using modern tools. Canon Digital Rebel with Sigma 18-125mm f/3.5-5.6 DC. From September, 2005 in Streitberg, Germany.
