For $215 that battery should’ve called you and asked what you wanted for lunch.

I didn't hear anything form Leica. Just got an email from UPS saying it was being delivered. This was the final email I got from Leica
Hi Allen,
Thanks for your question.
“Awaiting Shipment” means your order is being processed and has been sent to our warehouse for fulfillment — it is not on backorder. You’ll receive an automated email with tracking information as soon as UPS takes possession of your package.
If you have any other questions or need support along the way, I’m here to help.
Kind regards,

I ordered on May 28 and it and got it today. Pretty fast delivery.

Nope. Silence from both UPS and Leica.
I emailed them to the email that was on the notice they sent. The response was what I posted earlier. You should email them and ask if they sent or are sending the battery/batteries.

Do M10 batteries have a production date/code on them like the M240 batteries? If so, it would be interesting to see what that code is for the recently shipped batteries.

I don't know for sure if this is the code but there is a number stamped onto the battry of my new battery that looks like a date code of 0625VB. And on one of my old batteies the same code is 3019VB
So would I be wrong in thinking that the 06 means the 6th week of 2025 thus 0625? And on the old battery the 30th week of 2019?

UPDATE...I called Leica-New Jersey and they confirmed the battery shipped out today. Interestingly, they also said they experienced a delay sending out the orders because they received a huge consignment (their words) of M10 batteries and were struggling to fill the considerable number of backorders.
