Which place is this Peire? I should visit this! Very nice.
These are actually two different places, i.e. former cistertian monastery in Lubiaż/Lower Silesia/Poland and Castle of The Silesian Piasts in Brzeg/Opole Silesia/Poland.About 80-90km away from each other.

Thank you Dan! This was how I saw them.
You have a keen eye Peire!
America is a VERY young Country. There are none of these elaborate, ornate subjects on such a large scale as in the rest of the World.
Thanks for the tour!

"Corpse flower"..That's it!
I have my own garden variety only in a dwarf form.
Dan
And YES it stinks!!!!
Haha, these dwarf "corpse-let flowers" in your garden are great, Dan! It's wild they also stink, I can't even imagine without a GFX-scratch-and-sniff feature, but I can picture a measuring stick next to them for scale. Thanks for sharing more from your garden!

The Colorado River in the Grand Canyon. 100s. 45-100.
Spectacular lighting on this isolated tree in your chosen composition, Jefrey, it is truly amazing work to travel with the 100s & 45-100 on a Grand Canyon rafting adventure and create such considered images in the true wild.

Beautiful, peaceful lighting with your chosen couple, Helimat, the clouds parted perfectly for your sun rays in the waves!

As always, Peire, your detailed interiors of monumental historic architecture are enticing and inviting to the viewer. Exceptional handling of tricky lighting scenarios, always a pleasure to view!

Went up to Ricketts Glen yesterday, right when a thunderstorm and then some following rain was rolling through. Waited until the worst was past, then hiked in the rain to the Glen Leigh side, across the Highland Trail. There was already too much water for my liking, it's been wet up there this spring. Still have the neon green foliage, which will darken as we head towards summer. Saw lots of red efts which is always a treat. The rain ended with thick fog, which almost immediately burned off. I had maybe about 45 minutes before blue sky starting to peek through, then it was mostly sunny. Occasionally a puff of a cloud would give shade, but often the wind would pick up at those points. There was so much water rolling down Kitchen Creek, the larger falls created their own wind. Lots of trees down in places I often like to shoot.
So I took what I was given, focused a bit more on spot where higher water flow is a bit of a plus. The "Triangle Falls" shots, I normally shoot over further from where I did. With how strong the water was, I chickened out and didn't go that far.

Fantastic, vibrant, tack sharp...great motion blur Tim!
Super!

Much appreciated, thank you Dan. One of my favorite places to go, although it kicks my butt doing the hike.
Went back again today with the family. More consistent clouds, but breezy and quite a bit more people being on the weekend. And a family trip, so only took shots at a few spots.

Here are a few shots taken while hiking with my family at Ricketts Glen. A lot more people were there, as expected on the weekend, and it was breezier than Friday. Didn't take too many shots, but these were keepers.

Boy do I KNOW that feeling Tim! At 78 and in reasonably good shape, I seem to have my "best places to shoot" a hike to and from.....Got to rethink this brother!

Were these hand held Tim?
Yeah, I hear you. I'm only 55, but I kind of assess what I can do and maybe what will be more challenging. This is one of those things that I will do as long as I'm able. I just may not be able to do it with only one day of rest between visits.
