Re: Fuji GFX Image Thread - all cameras and lenses

Went up to Ricketts Glen yesterday, right when a thunderstorm and then some following rain was rolling through. Waited until the worst was past, then hiked in the rain to the Glen Leigh side, across the Highland Trail. There was already too much water for my liking, it's been wet up there this spring. Still have the neon green foliage, which will darken as we head towards summer. Saw lots of red efts which is always a treat. The rain ended with thick fog, which almost immediately burned off. I had maybe about 45 minutes before blue sky starting to peek through, then it was mostly sunny. Occasionally a puff of a cloud would give shade, but often the wind would pick up at those points. There was so much water rolling down Kitchen Creek, the larger falls created their own wind. Lots of trees down in places I often like to shoot.

So I took what I was given, focused a bit more on spot where higher water flow is a bit of a plus. The "Triangle Falls" shots, I normally shoot over further from where I did. With how strong the water was, I chickened out and didn't go that far.
