Hand held Tim?

No, these were all taken tripod mounted with either a CPL or dark CPL. Holding the shutter open enough to blur the water, but not so long as to get a lot of leaf movement. It's been a windy spring here, and it doesn't take much of a breeze to move leaves. Some of the bigger falls had enough water flow that they were producing their own breeze and a misty one at that.

Glad the area rendered you the op to use a tripod! With all the new "editing" technologies now, I sometime find it hard to determine "hand-held" or tripod. As sharp and crisp as these are I would have guessed tripod use but as I said..It is becoming increasing clear that maybe one was not needed for great eqpt or pp editing.
Our Spring has been whacky also...Warmer than normal and lots o rain.....it is always breezy up against the mountains.
Thanks!
Dan

On a 30" calibrated monitor, these are even more spectacular Tim!
Colors are so vibrant yet restrained(?)..the blur is perfect..a crispness to the image's lines.!!
Kudos!

Yeah, I often use a tripod. On the Friday trip, I took my RRS TVC-22i with an Arca-Swiss P1+. Yesterday, being with the family, and feeling kind of pooped, I took my more modest RRS TFC-24L with an Arca-Swiss P0. I like shooting off a tripod, when its use is possible.
And I try to keep color reasonable, although using a polarizer will generally bring out a lot of color in these scenes. The difference is shocking actually. I still don't want anything to look too surreal though.

Understand..IMHO yours are "natural". No conflicts among the colors..Everything mellow!!!

Really great continued set from your trip, Tim, you have the long exposure timed perfectly to add motion while keeping the trees and leaves sharp. I like how the second vertical waterfall patterns match the forest lines!

Went to Ship Creek over the weekend to revisit a river otter pair I spotted on a ride when I only had a z24-120, and discovered it was the first spring volunteer cleaning event! Joined in and filled up a neon orange garbage bag, but snapped a few photos of fellow volunteers and a passing Alaska train | Anchorage, Alaska | 100sii, 500, 1.4x

Thank you! I've been shooting waterfalls for over 25 years, just casually for fun. But over the years I have learned to try to get myself in the right place in the best conditions.....and then when that almost never quite happens...how to deal with it. Wind is often a challenge, between clouds and wind it's almost a tie. But I have learned what shutter speed range gives you decent blur while trying to stay short enough to find those quiet moments between breezes.

I was going to just keep adapting my Canon EF180mmMacro to my 100s Iii Peire but I may re-think that with what is shown here!
Vibrant, sharp, bokeh!!!!

Outstanding eye to find these freshly panted, sparkling bright row houses, Dan, the colors pop, especially the red doors and window shutters against the blue-grey walls on brick house 15. The GF 45-100 is stellar in your steady hands!

Such unique rock formations at the Roxborough State Park, Jeff, especially the peach, almost pink, colors against the green hills in 2, 4, 6. I think I'm just digging all the colors in recent posts, but these 65:24 pano crops work especially well with your scenes and compositions!
