I find the title of this thread "Z1.8S Images Thread" rather confusing. I wonder if I'm alone? Could it be that others find it so? Could it be that confusion leads to the lack of posts here, particularly as many own and use these popular primes? Or is the lack of traffic here because there are other individual dedicated lens threads already in existence here?
I think it's pretty straight foward. Any picture taking with the 1.8S lenses can be shared here. I do find it confusing when people dont share the lens used.
FM is not a really about quantity but more about quality in my opinion. There are a lot of talented and knowledgable photographers on this site and it's not plagued by trolls. In today's internet that is really nice and refreshing. But to answer your question, The only threads that get a lot of traffic are the most general ones like Nikon Z image thread etc. Usually lens specific threads tend to be popular when the lens new and just announced and the interest slowly disappear.
I really like the whole 1.8S series and it's unique to the Z mount. You can get great optical quality at a reasonnable price.
I wanted to highlight and honor the series in a thread so that newcomers to the Z mount can see how good and versatile they are.
Feel free to share your images or thoughts on the series here.

alskouba, I agree with much you've said. It's just the title of the thread that's confusing. Perhaps it's just the spacing you've used in the title? Z1.8S reads like a newly introduced Nikon body.

50mm. I edited my post to say 50. Forgot to last night.
I've often gone to your flickr page to look for the lens in these shots and often find some other gems to see in your collection as well.....so it's almost good advertising to not state the lens in this thread lol.
As for the point of this thread.....I've been an advocate of using the individual lens threads just so people know where to find people's images with each lens. I've bought a number of lenses after reviewing those threads and a lot of the images I was seeing were from several years ago. If they're in this thread, it gets a bit lost as you have to sift through to find the ones from a lens one may be specifically interested in. I still think that.....although I appreciate the value of celebrating the 1.8S collection too in this era of 1.2S lenses. It may just be my recent shift away from big bokeh towards having a bit more environment in the images and having more portable lenses.
I'm mostly here for the images and community so having more active image threads is a good thing I think...
I missed this. Sorry about that. I appreciate you. Thank you.
