I often use the f mount 58 1.4 Voigtlander with ftz for tighter stuff like portraits too...
Wow! They all are very nice, I particularly like the colour one of the girl on the beach, the out of focus area is beautifully rendered and the colours are magnificent.
I own a Contax Zeiss 35 Distagon f1.4 but never found myself attracted by that field of view, it's a very big lens and taking it around to test when doesn't really attire me, in the 50mm range I love my Nikon 58G, I also got the native Z mount 50/1.8, nothing to tell home about, seems almost perfect but sterile, got a 60G which never really use and two MF ones, an old Nikkor 50/2 Auto which has quite a character and another old Contax Planar 50/1.7 which also has its own verve.
I'd like to have a native Z mount MF little thing for a light setup, I figure I have to find out what in the range between 35 and 50 better suits me but since I am a people's person my guess is I would bend to the tighter angle range.
There’s. 40 f/1.2 z mount from Voigtlander that’s supposedly very nice. Has plenty of character. I’ve been tempted but i I have the 35 f2 apo, 58 1.4 and a 50 1.8 already.

I am perennially a person that has a hard time seeing in black and white, but am enjoying working with the ZF's b/w jpeg modes to do it in camera vs in post. ZF + 35 APO.
