Looks like Sony has some 300's in stock. If you are on the Sony site and asked when it is in stock they are offering it now, with limited quantity. They sent me a get it now, but I am holding off for my local store where I pre-ordered to stay loyal to them.

Has someone already received their a9III?
I hear the some European customers may already have received theirs.
Regards,
Bernard
Just picked one up, an yes I am in Europe. I see shops have plenty in stock, so they seem to be a slow seller compared to the A1. That one was sold out of a long time IIRC.
Had me excited these were taken with the 300 2.8 but I realized they were with the 400 2.8. I'm more interested in the lens than the camera. :-(
Pics looked great. No doubt that the camera is capable of taking great photographs though is there?

It's the flash sync with the Sony flash at 1/4000, 1/8000 and 1/16000 that is a little unique.

Hey,
could you answer the ultimate question and tell us if there's any resolution drop in EVF when actively focusing (AF-C) ?

Testing right now I see the same behavior as the A1 except that the A1 flickers for a frame or two when i half press for focusing while the A9 doesn't.
I also use DRO 5 to better see details in shadows while shooting, like I can with an OVF. For some reason both cameras turn this off in the EVF while shooting bursts, which dims the image.

Thanks! You've already provided more interesting information than all the reviewers out there ...

If you have a Sony GN60 see whether you can shoot at 120fps with flash sync at 1/4000s. There is a firmware update for the flash.
