I noticed that note too. UHS-I vs UHS-II
One thing I noticed when I first started shooting Leica ( the M10 in 2018) is the Leica Forum tends to talk a lot about SD card brands that work well with Leica cameras and those that cause problems. Unfortunately there isn't a lot of agreement on which brand(s) or type is the best for Leica and which causes problems.
I wasn't surprised when the SD Card theme transitioned to the M11 and some blamed various SD cards that might be causing M11 problems. But again not a lot of agreement on the card brands or types even though some posted evidence of their claims for a specific brand/type card. Last I paid attention, some were talking about UHS-I type cards vs UHS-II SD cards might be optimal for M11 operations.
FWIW, I use both UHS-II and UHS-I cards on the M11 and multiple brands to include Sony, Sandisk and Lexar with no issues.
Apparently the first specification on the M11-P recommending UHS-1 SD Cards was a misprint, Leica actually recommends UHS -II for all M11s. In fact they now say that some errors may be caused by using UHS-I cards. See quote below.
"Important Information regarding memory card use
• In rare cases, the use of UHS-I SD may result in some technical issues. An optimization for these SD
cards is planned for a later firmware update. Leica recommends using UHS-II cards to generally avoid
these issues, and to guarantee the best possible performance for your camera."

Check your Leica Fotos app for:
M11 firmware update to v 2.0.1 and,
Fotos App update v 4.1.0 including support for M11-P
Damn I just love how simple fast and reliable the Leica Fotos app is. It is very much like the M11 in that regard. I just updated the App, and the firmware on my M11 in minutes with just a couple of screen button clicks. Why can't other manufacturers make updating so safe, simple, and quick?

Great job leica!
BTW in case you missed it like I did:
As posted on LUF by hmzimelka:
"The custom function buttons can now be programmed with a "Centre Frame" option that resets the LV cursor back to centre screen."
*Press the custom button for a few seconds until FN Button options appear then scroll to last page and set "Center Frame"

Thanks for the heads up. But it looks like you can now just turn the touch screen function OFF in LV mode so the cursor always stays in the center. Perfect for focus and recompose which is easy to shoot. I can keep my existing function buttons the same.
The update seems to have totally messed up my User Profiles however. I have some work to do to get them all redone. I should have saved them to a card first.

This happened with me a couple times, especially on the SL. To avoid this I always export my camera profiles to the SD card before doing firmware updates.

The thing I like least about this update is that they separated the Self Timer Drive Mode Option from the rest of the Drive Mode settings. Now when I want to set a self timer I have to go into the full menu to do it. Why do that except to let you toggle them on. But then you can't toggle them off. You have to go to the full drive mode menu to do that.
What were they drinking/smoking/swallowing when they made that decision?

However, if you consider it, it's a smart choice. Let's say someone wants to do interval shooting or exposure bracketing. Depending on the shutter speed, the camera might shake during the first shot. Before this update, the self-timer was one of the options, so you had to pick between interval shooting and the self-timer. But now, you can use all drive mode options along with self-timer because the self-timer is now a separate choice with the new firmware.

Yes, I agree the flexibility is better. Thanks for pointing that out.
