I'm still dying over that goat, After the days I've had at work since my return, I feel that more and more.
And yeah, I imagine that car's gotten a few more extras if it's at the side of a road, or in a circle/rotary/roundabout, I'm guessing the oil at the front is from a recent dent addition.
Every new day makes retirement seem like a good option...

The Goat shot is one of my favorite's, also. It is giving me the look of complete disdain that I so richly deserve.
The car with the boulder on it was a work of art done a number of years ago. It has since received a few more dents courtesy of passers by.

I got Plena today, what a beautiful lens design.
My biggest complaint is that Nikon dropped the ball when it comes to designing the hood. It's so cheap, thin sharp plastic, weighs nothing. My cheapo $200 M43rd lenses have better hoods. My Samyang 135 F1.8 has 10 times more premium looking hood.
Another bummer is lack of a focus distance limiter switch, it comes in so handy on a longer FL Prime. What a miss Nikon. Another win for Samyang.

Focus limiting switch would always be welcome, but also I haven’t had any behavior from the lens that would have necessitated using that feature since I’ve had it.
I don’t understand the desire for a hood that weighs more. I am happy to have a plastic hood on a long lens. As little weight as possible out on the end keeps the weight balanced. Likewise, if it bumps/bangs against something, a plastic hood’s ability to flex or break absorbs impact that a solid metal hood would not.
Short lenses, I prefer a more stout lens hood.

Plena is one of the lenses that enhances the resolution upgrade from 24MP to 45MP.
I mean, the lens was already sensational on the 24MP sensor, but on my new Z8, you notice how much the handbrake was on before.
It's truly multiplied when you feed the Z8 sensor with a Plena and vice versa.
