I can't speak for the Q3, but the M11 that it shares a sensor with gives excellent results up to ISO 6400 and acceptable results up to 10-12K or so. The 60mp high ISO color noise is not ugly like the color noise from the Q2 and SL2.
I no longer have high ISO samples from the Q2M, but I remember the files looked pretty good well past where the M11 became unacceptable for my uses.
Really with either sensor, you won't find yourself hating the noise that does show up at high ISO.
Below is the M11 at ISO 10K with a 1:1 crop showing the noisiest part of the image with noise reduction left at the default setting. I don't find this color noise objectionable, and it looks even better when converted to b&w and/or when applying more noise reduction.

The B&W JPGs (HC) from the Q3 are quite good actually. But I 100% prefer the files from the Q2M. I honestly didn't think I would notice it as much as I do.

I still find myself (loosely) working with floral subjects and the Q2M macro mode. In the first, I've also attached/adapted a RED macro lens adapter. I'm liking the results I get from this combo. Still working on some other things.

Rented a Q-P while I await delivery of Q3. Started to wonder if I made a mistake (note to self rent before buy) but it has quickly grown on me and even more excited. Kids concert later today, but here's a few from playing around last night.
