I have only used the Godox trigger with studio lights with the Q2. That worked well.
It is my understanding that that old "auto" flashes (particularly Nikon ones) well and can be very small. "Auto" flash is probally a dying art but actually works reasonably well with today's digital cameras. Nikon flashes also work in manual settings.
The hotel is quite basic, yet impressively clean and fully automated. You can watch a video to get a better sense of it. Our stay, however, was brief, lasting just one night.
The location is great though. Right next to Ginza shopping, which made my wife and girls happy.
