Many wonderful photos in the thread. The Qs are fantastic little cameras. Here are some of my entries to the mix taken with my Q2m. The first photo is of a moose skull on snow. The second was taken at the nazi rally grounds at Nuremberg.
Back from my first vacation with the Q2. I had a Z8 along as well (40mm f/2 and 135 f/1.8) for different purposes, but the Q2 ended up getting the most use for sure. As a camera to hike around with, it really fit my needs most of the time. Compact, simple, and lovely to use. I'd love a faster maximum shutter, but it also gives me a reminder to stop down sometimes.
I really fell in love with the macro mode. Below are some critters and plants and fungi from GSMNP.

Recently acquired a very lightly used Q3 43 from @nomorerain and absolutely love it. Stellar lens (unlike at least my experience with the Q2M), and everything else about the camera is just lovely. Although I have not tried to shoot rapidly moving subjects, I have also had very good hit rate (near100%) with AF, including face/eye detection. At least with the current firmware, failure of AF reported on Youtube seems to largely be hype or user error [ success with Eye/Face detection does require choosing that focus mode, which is done as a separate choice...this differs from the Sony system, for instance.]
In any case, I love the camera and highly recommend it, as well as the Helium H3 grip, for anyone who has been on the fence.
A question: what kind of sharpening was done with these, either in-camera or post-processing?
Thank you!
I will have to look up. No additional sharpening in the camera, that‘s for sure. Imported as RAW files into Capture one. I will have to check the settings. But normally I don‘t sharpen landscape pictures, when I apply sharpening it‘s mostly for portraits or details. But I will check back and give you feedback. Might take one week since I have no access to my pictures right now.

Up close with the Q2 Monochrom.
These look great, really nicely handled scenes. One thing I've been noticing, though, is that the Q2 Monochrom seems to have a slightly different tonal feel compared to the M10 Monochrom. Have you noticed that at all, or is it just me?

Thanks Fred! The Q2 Mono is the only monochrome camera I've personally used, so others will have to weigh in on the comparison. I do love the raw files coming out of this camera though.
