Loaded up Topaz AI last night and rescanned some 1985 Kodachrome's. originally shot on a Nikon FG and 50mm f/1.8e ai-s lens. Topaz AI does a great job, cleaning up the CA noise from these old chromes. The First two are from the families' Jan. 1985 day trip to Cape May. Cold and crisp that day. The last is from the fall outing at the club in September 1985. Antique car display that day. Again Topaz AI on the cleanup. This is a White-tailed deer fawn on an elevated spot in the Everglades named "Last Fawn Rise". It is a manmade tree island about 1/2 acre in size and about 5 miles north of Alligator Alley.
Captured in April 1986 with Kodachrome 64 and Nikon F3 and 55 micro Nikkor 2.8. Digitizing was done with the 80-400 AFS with a Canon 500D closeup filter attached

1976 was 2 years before I took my first picture.
I miss it ! my 16 year old grandson just texted me his photos from his first roll of film put through a Nikon FM. Light meter hasn't been solved yet so he's using his iPhone as a light meter to adjust his settings. I couldn't believe how good his first attempt turned out. He's really excited.
