And I took my Z9 with the 600mm S TC f/4 lens to the coastal side in my home country Belgium to shoot this black-tailed godwit. Very soon will they be even more visible once they have chicks and once raised will they return to Africa. Literally did only cropped the image to 16:9.

Here are some images of a Rufous Hummingbird taken a couple days later, also taken with the Z9 and the 600mm f/4 TC. I apologize for the motion blur on the third image. I was taking the images at 1/3200 of a second because the hummingbird was perched, and I did not anticipate the action about to unfold (lesson learned). I am posting the third image, despite the technical flaw, due to the image speaking to me anyway. I hope you will indulge me on this one!

Here are two images taken with the Z9 camera and the 600mm f/4 TC lens, from along the Stillaquamish River. The first image was taken at 600mm and f/8, while the second image was taken (in DX mode) at 840mm and f/5.6. The new chicks are nearly adult size this late in the spring.

all of them are handheld except for the swallows photos. I spent probably an hour shooting those guys trying to get the shot of them feeding, and I was too lazy to handhold for that haha
