My Nikon Z 600 mm F4 TC VR S arrived on my BD..lol ..I have been shooting the Nikon 800 pf for awhile and it's a great lens, I sold my fl 600 mm for it and the thought of maybe one day be able to afford the new 600 mm...I don't play golf..sold some Canon equipment..so it worked out !
Today was the first try out. weather been crazy here..rain and more rain...NJ, but was able to put sum time with it...much lighter than the 600 mm fl. and the auto focus seems quicker ... the built in converter is awesome !! I thought about the 400 mm 2.8 having the 800pf but I'm really happy...for now I will keep the 800pf, great for the little birds.

This early morning in truly soft winter light here in South Africa did I had to take a shot of this beautiful brown snake eagle at 840mm

And this pearl-spotted owlet was also shot in South Africa, the sky was pretty boring and bad but no complaints how the Z9 nailed it. Thought about replacing the sky and more enhancements but nope, the weather is what it is.
