Finally had a chance to put my new Z8 and Z 400mm F/4.5 to the test this week, on my son Matt's 22' skiff. We trolled and fished in the back bay of Wildwood-Cape May, NJ. She was bouncing around a bit, but still managed some nice shots, actually quite a few nice ones. All of these shots were actually quite distant and are heavily cropped. Originals are Raw+ Jpeg. My Apple PHOTOS still will not do my Z8 RAWS. These Jpegs are with apple Photos then Topaz AI. Thanks, Mike

I've only owned this lens for a couple months but it's quickly becoming my favorite piece of gear. There is really nothing that I would change about it. It's just so effortless to use. Okay, maybe a built in tc ?

So true. I would love to have this lens to shoot my son's baseball, but really enjoy the versatility I have with the 100-400mm (Sigma).
