I saw this a couple days ago on the rumor mill—I always love the color output and vibe of the company from the first couple iterations. The DR was wicked good for a crop body too. Fingers crossed we finally get an RF digital alternative to used m240’s as the only sub 4k FF RF option.

I looked at this yesterday before the addition of the "+" announcement and saw the features you posted above on their website.

Agreed they locked themselves in to a certain extent with the promise of upgrades, but they are limiting their market by not offering a full frame version. I would buy it if they did (and charged more than the APS-C version). And I’m guessing quite a few other Leica shooters would buy a full frame version as well. Full frame version + upgradeable sensor/processor would be something Leica or anyone else doesn’t offer.

LV mode? It doesn't have a screen, so LV via a connected smart phone?

Are there more frame lines? Or do they mean because of better focus accuracy?

I think they mean better accuracy and the ability to use fatter lenses without blocking the rangefinder window.
That is very cool BUT weird that for a ground up all new design Pixii did not incorporate that from the beginning. After all, those fast fat lenses existed before Pixii.
I would be bummed out if I owned the previous Pixii because those owners were led to believe that any improvements would be retroactively incorporated into their cameras. This physical hardware/rangefinder change belies that.

I'n not sure sure of that. Reading through their website, they seem to intimate that they can put the new rangefinder into the older cameras.
