For sure that 600TC is awesome! I probably would have got that had it come out first but it didn't and I'm happy with the 400TC and 800pf combo. Also looking forward to getting the 180-600 for a light all in one lens for walking around!

finally have something to offer myself

my first time ever shooting Nikon. definitely a big switch from Canon, but overall I'm loving it.

my keeper rate was only about 40% down from 95% ish, but I attribute that mainly to not understanding the 76 different AF options with this camera

the razor thin DOF of that 400 also proved to be quite difficult with multiple subjects.
