Wonderful images "TW"! There are some images that just cry out for color and others that cry out for bw. There can become a fine line between the conversion to bw and leaving color.
I think these are wonderful! At least I am enjoying them!

Thanks Dan.
I have to admit that in all these years I have never clicked on the assignment forums. I will take a look (but am generally more interested in photo discussions than contests).
Oh dont take my comment as "contest" being that some one had "thee #1" photo. That is not why I enter them. I like to see how a member interprets the WA Subject and how other members submit their image.
It is FUN!
Members that produce excellent images, as yourself, I like to encourage to participate. If you choose not to that is fine!
Thanks!
Dan

From Sunday as I passed by the local animal farm. It was early evening and the shadows across this 100 year old house caught my eye.
The water can was just placed on the property so I got it also. The farm has many varied species of animals.

This forum would be lost without your enthusiastic support.
I like them also in B&W, but the second one has that little bit extra in color.

That is the most gracious and kind comment I have ever had and I truly THANK YOU for it! Some photographers have the instinct...I have to work at it!
Members need honest, unbiased support. I try to provide that regardless of subject matter!
I know of no ladder that has a bottom step and a top step only.
Again my most humble thanks"TW"
Dan

Super composition "jh"! Lovely young woman on a swing and her reflection in the plateglass window. Super tones and background!

Contrasts are excellent Rod! That Q2 just takes such a fine image in the right hands!
Great series. Did you stop for a "slyce"? I think I would have!

Thanks Dan, I think I have this Q2M beast under my control finally. Slice? No, my cardiologist would not approve. ;-)

I love Oaxaca City in Mexico, the city, people, food, culture. We were there only a short time but I got images I liked, met some great folks, saw interesting things, had wonderful food, and would love to return. We are so fortunate to have a vibrant Mexican and Hispanic community here in the Springs, even a Dia de Muertos celebration is planned, but it is not the same and every year around this time my heart aches. Here are some images from the streets of Oaxaca and I hope to post more images from the Day of the Dead in the next week or two.
