I got a Nikon 1.4E III TC just over a week ago and this was the first time I got out with it in good light. I really didn't like the TC's on DSLRs like my D500+500PF, cropping had better IQ then the TC's gave. But I heard such good things with them on the Z cameras and specifically the the Z9 so I just bought one. The below image really stunned me with the IQ and detail. This image is 100% crop as well.
Ran through Lightroom for color profile sharpening set to zero and Topaz Denoise AI set to auto on Standard model

Taken with the Z9 and 70-200z lens through the chain link fence. First time experimenting with getting just the ball in focus. CC welcomed and appreciated. Thanks for the look.
