The reasons I stayed with Nikon are the 500PF, knowing the meter system and working with the files and of course the gorgeous Nikon colors! Below is just a mix of shots showing examples of the colors! The proof is in the "details". Super happy I stayed in the Nikon system.

More Z9 + 500 pf + 1.4x TCIII
Little Wattlebird on a bottlebrush. This was in a howling southerly with the flower/branch that the bord was sitting on waving up and down like a yo-yo. I am so impressed that the camera could capture the shot without blur!
Z9 + 500 pf + 1.4x TCIII, 1/640s f/8.0 at 700.0mm iso1250. Shot wide open. Man this combo is incredible!

This is a RAW image converted in Capture One Pro and all the usual post processing was applied where necessary. It has been cropped slightly and a little Topaz De-noise also.
Part of why the 500 + 1.4x TCIII works so well is that it is ML and the combo just seems to be so much better, more reliable on a ML camera. No AF Fine Tune issues or any slight misfocus.
