I lead a photowalk with another photographer at Brookgreen Gardens here in South Carolina last week. I normally use the 100-400 for these walks which we do every month. This month a rehabbed Eagle was moved to an enclosure (a very large one) with a male Bald Eagle. I got a few images but really liked this one. No one else might like it but me ( ) but I love the lighting.

Just received my 100-400 last week. I was really on the fence between this and the 180-600 and 150-500. I shoot a good mix of landscape, wildlife, and sports. I ended up going with the 100-400 because I thought it was the most versatile and after taking it out for a race this past weekend I'm very happy with my choice. Excellent IQ and great focal range for many situations. I was also surprised how light and handholdable it was. I shoot with a Lumix 70-200 for work on the S5ii and I was surprised by how much lighter the Z7ii + 100-400 combo felt. I carried it around all day and even ran with it with no issue. Just a superb lens.
